The old reception for Nenepark Academy is a perfect place to film, this is because the building hasn't been used in over 4 years, it is completely abandoned and we can gain access but we have to receive permission.
Using this location will benefit my film as the idea is all based around a satanic ritual, therefore being all abandoned it looks the part, we can also change everything inside, but because the reception is already trashed, the paint on the walls and the rooms are deteriorating so it definitely looks abandoned and run down, the outside of the building is all overgrown, there are a couple of doors and windows which are boarded up. It brings a lot of horror conventions forward and it looks very stereotypical in films but it is different as it isn't a house and it isn't owned by anybody.
The building is still in the school grounds, so if we are to enter we need permission by the site team, they are the only ones who are allowed to unlock the doors and let us into the building. Since the building is still in the school grounds it is very easy to access it, due to it being within walking distance it is a very convenient location to use.
