Character Themes:
Antagonist is usually dressed in darker clothes, ripped up or ruined clothing, usually male or a monster. Females are mainly represented as sex icons, or weak and helpless unless they take on the role of males. Typically a protagonist/hero, victim, antagonist/villain, children, monster.
Sound:
Specific sounds can be associated with villains, an example is Jaws, the classic music plays when he is present and potentially looking for his next victim, or using hardly any sound or no sound to build tension.
Lighting:
Brighter lighting is mainly used when the protagonist is present, whereas darker lighting is used when the antagonist is present or is in an upcoming scene. Darkness is used to show a sense of danger
